Cash App AI assistant features are rolling out in a big way as the company unveils a major fall update packed with new tools, smarter insights, and fresh financial benefits. At the center of this update is Moneybot, Cash App’s new AI-powered assistant designed to help people understand their money faster and make better decisions with less effort.

Moneybot acts like a personal guide inside the app. It can break down your income, show spending trends, explain monthly expenses, and pull together simple reports based on your activity. Instead of digging through charts, users can simply ask, “Can you show me my monthly income, expenses, and spending patterns?” and get answers in seconds.

Cash App says the assistant not only explains what’s happening, but also suggests the next steps, like splitting a bill, checking your Bitcoin balance, or even asking someone for money when needed.

For now, Moneybot will be available only to select users. But the company plans to expand access over the next few months as it gathers more feedback and improves its real-time recommendations. According to Cash App’s head of product design, Cameron Worboys, the goal is simple: move customers beyond static numbers and toward helpful actions tailored to their habits.

Cash App’s parent company, Block, led by Jack Dorsey, has been pushing deeper into Bitcoin payments this year. Last month, the company launched a new system that helps merchants receive Bitcoin instantly into a dedicated wallet. Now, Cash App users can go a step further. They can find local businesses that accept Bitcoin using a new interactive map, and even pay with USD while Cash App automatically handles the crypto part in the background.

The feature uses the Lightning Network, which is a fast, low-cost layer built on top of Bitcoin. Users simply scan a QR code to pay. This means you can make Bitcoin payments even if you’re not actually holding Bitcoin, giving customers a smoother way to try crypto payments without the added complexity.

In the coming months, Cash App also plans to support sending and receiving stablecoins. This move is expected to make cross-border payments and peer-to-peer transfers even more flexible for users who want speed and stability.

Cash App Green: A New Rewards Experience

Alongside the new Cash App AI assistant, the company is overhauling how customers qualify for benefits. For years, users needed at least $300 in monthly direct deposits to unlock perks like better interest rates. Now, Cash App is launching a fresh program called Cash App Green, and it offers more ways to qualify.

Spend $500 or more each month using the Cash App Card or Cash App Pay, or

Receive at least $300 in deposits

Once they meet this threshold, users unlock a new set of rewards and protections. These include a higher borrowing limit, up to $400 for first-time borrowers, and the possibility of increasing existing limits by up to $300. Customers also get free overdraft coverage up to $200 on card transactions, free withdrawals at in-network ATMs, and up to 3.5% APY on savings balances.

On top of that, Cash App Green members receive five personalized weekly offers that refresh based on their shopping habits.

Cash App says these changes will make around 8 million accounts newly eligible for these benefits. For teens, the company is also expanding its offerings by introducing a 3.5% APY savings rate with no balance limits.

This update positions Cash App as one of the most flexible teen-friendly financial tools in the market.

Cash App Borrow, the company’s small-dollar loan feature, is being expanded to users in 48 states, offering short-term support for people who may need occasional help.

Cash App is also adding easier access to Afterpay’s buy now, pay later options directly inside the app, removing the need for a separate login. This creates a single, integrated experience where users can manage spending, payments, and financing from one place.

Overall, Cash App’s fall update shows a clear shift toward smarter automation, deeper personalization, and more inclusive financial access.

The addition of the Cash App AI assistant, Moneybot, signals a future where managing your finances becomes less stressful and more proactive, and where tools quietly work in the background so users can focus on what matters most.
